Celebrating at the Cherwell Business Awards

Winners and finalists at the awards on stage together

On Friday 19 September, we had the pleasure of attending the 2025 Cherwell Business Awards Gala Dinner at the Chesterton Hotel, Bicester and celebrating alongside many fantastic local businesses.

Although we didn’t win in either category this time, we’re truly proud to have been named a finalist for both the New Business Award and the Town Centre Award. To be recognised twice, in such competitive categories and among such inspiring businesses, is an achievement we’re incredibly grateful for.

All the tables at the awards and the sparkly lights on the ceiling

The evening itself was a real treat. The Chesterton Hotel looked stunning, with fairy lights twinkling across the ceiling and a wonderful atmosphere of celebration filling the room. Guests enjoyed a delicious three course meal before the awards began, and the night included a fun game of heads or tails which had everyone laughing and joining in. It was a brilliant chance to connect, celebrate, and enjoy the occasion with fellow finalists and supporters.

At The Sense of Hearing, our mission has always been to provide compassionate, independent hearing care right in the heart of the town centre. Being shortlisted in these awards reinforces our belief in the importance of offering our community an alternative to chain providers, somewhere you can feel listened to, supported, and cared for.

We’d like to extend a huge congratulations to all the winners and fellow finalists, your dedication and achievements are inspiring. And most importantly, a heartfelt thank you to our clients, partners, and the local community for your continued support. We wouldn’t be here without you, and this recognition belongs to you as much as it does to us.

Here’s to continuing our journey and to many more milestones ahead!
