We’re excited to share some wonderful news! The Sense of Hearing has been named a finalist in two categories at the 2025 Cherwell Business Awards.

Our Banbury-based audiology clinic has been shortlisted for both the ‘New Business Award’ and the ‘Town Centre Award’, recognising not only our growth as a new business but also our contribution to the vitality of Banbury’s town centre.

Now in its thirteenth year, the Cherwell Business Awards shine a spotlight on the achievements of businesses across the Cherwell district. With a record number of strong entries this year, it’s an honour to be among such inspiring local enterprises.

Founded to provide compassionate, expert hearing care right in the heart of Banbury, we’ve worked hard to offer our community an alternative to chain providers. Somewhere you can receive independent advice, tailored support, and a genuine commitment to your hearing health.

“We’re absolutely thrilled to be recognised as a finalist in not just one, but two categories,” said David Peel, founder of The Sense of Hearing. “As a relatively new business, this recognition means a great deal, and we’re so proud to contribute to Banbury’s town centre and local economy.”

The winners will be announced at the Cherwell Business Awards Gala Dinner and Ceremony on Friday 19 September, held at the Chesterton Hotel. We’ll be there, celebrating alongside other fantastic local businesses and keeping our fingers crossed!

Thank you to all our clients, supporters, and the local community, we wouldn’t be here without you!
